Let's talk a little bit about what is a brand voice and what makes a good one. To define it, brand voice is the way you communicate with your audience through words, it's the personality, style, phrasing approach, and wording that you use within your brand. It's basically the personality you take on in your communications.
Although as a small business owner, it's very easy for us to take on our own voices. It's helpful to think of your brand as separate from you, whether your brand is just your name or it is a business name that is separate from you.
I encourage you to start thinking of them as separate. There's the personal you, and there's kind of the branded you, so to speak. The longer you're in business, the more distinct this will likely become.
