Welcome to the Storybrand training! In this lesson, you will be learning about the framework I use in brand messaging guides to help clients understand their relationship to their client and how they help them through their products and services. Whether you've read Building a Storybrand or not, I'd love to take this time to go over the foundations with you and show you how this can look in application.
A foundational element of your messaging guide is your Storybrand framework. It truly begins to pull all the pieces together. So far, you've developed your brand's voice and your target audience persona. Now, we're going to think about how you as the business owner can serve as a guide to your clients. Equipped with your Storybrand framework, you can then begin to develop your mission statement, positioning language, and taglines from a place of awareness about the customer journey.
So, what is the Storybrand framework? It is a model developed by author and marketer Donald Miller. It has been used by thousands of businesses all over the world, all to help businesses better tell their story and create marketing that is guided, positioning the client as the hero, not the business owner.
